Winter Graphics Fun
Nothing is more fun than making graphics, so we have some base graphics to spark your creativity. The theme
is three winter holidays:
Chinese/Lunar New Year -- 1/26/09 -- This is the year of the ox. The ox and the lantern are both symbols of
the holiday.
Tu B'Shevat -- 2/8-9/09 -- This is the Jewish new year for trees. I bet you didn't know trees had a new year. Well, they
do. The graphic is self explanatory except it probably needs leaves and fruit.
Valentine's Day -- 2/14/09 -- We all know about this one, but since we have several holidays, hearts are not your only option.
Here's a heart thought.
There are really no rules for this activity. You can colorize, paint, duplicate, resize, or otherwise decorate or embellsh
any or all of these graphics to your heart's content in whatever way you see fit. If you need graphics software, you can obtain
free open source software at GIMP.
When you are finished with your graphic, please upload it to the photo gallery at the RAOK group site on Facebook. You can also
upload it to your own profile. Let the world see your creation and have fun!
Note: Facebook does not support transparent backgrounds on .gifs It turns them black so please try not to create transparent backgrounded
.gifs. Also, these images are in .png format for maximum flexibility. You'll probably want to save them as .jpg and/or .gif files.
