New Unfettered Soul Beach Head v 3.0This page has not been revised in so long, I need to start from scratch; for even the basics have changed. My name is still Eileen H. Kramer, and I also go by the handles, Roanna, Rowanna, and ZOIDRubashov. All these handles have long and complicated histories, as does the first my email address. You can read about ZOIDRubashov by clicking here. I am an academic librarian. If you are curious, here is a fairly recent vita, and here is my personal professional page. I live in an apartment and am much happier renting than owning. I grow some plants from seed in containers each year but would much rather have a real garden. I also have two kitties, Georgia and Hertzel. Georgia is a blue cream half Siamese and she will be sixteen in December. She has nearly perfect markings including both blue grey and white whiskers and a little cream blaze on her otherwise blue grey nose. With a single loud and harmonious "broop," Georgia can make heads in a room turn. When repairmen come to fix things in the apartment, they come to visit my blue cream alpha kitty. Georgia prances around on the counter with her claws out so they clack. I got Hertzel as a companion for Georgia who had lost her two feline house mates in 2000. Hertzel is a three year old white tom cat who was neutered as an adult. He is imeptuous, friendly, and playful and has handsome yellow eyes. Hertzel likes to claw my windowsills and bat nicknacks around on the floor. When he leaps to the kitchen counter, he floats as silently as a white cloud. Hertzel also loves to roll on to his back and show the world his "boy kitty titties." Toms who go through puberty have prominent nipples. As for a husband or children, I have neither. I am in blazingly good health too. When it comes to my ladies' groups, I mainly do support work. I enjoy exchanging e-cards but dislike most phyiscal swaps. Likewise, I don't have much patience for snail mail penpaling. I wish I had the time and patience to read since I enjoy that a lot. Lately I have been trying to read books rather than magazines. Except for a brief interruption, due to Syracuse University discontinuing "relay" I've been on the internet since late 1983. A fellow student took me into the bowels of Uris Hall at Cornell University and introduced me to Bitnet Relay Chat, which is a forerunner of the current IRC. I had an email address, ehkjartj@cornella.edu, but I had no one to whom to send mail. The internet in those days was all command driven. In 1992, I found my first email listservs. I was living in Utica at the time, and that city had finally been wired to the internet grid. Before that it took a long distance call to my student/employee account in Syracuse to get connected. My first listservs were intellectual and professional. I started out on Libref and IPCT-L. I also tried MU**'s, multiuser real time environments. I found all of this fascinating and wonderful, though given my history, not that new. In 1995, I was thrown off an elite private mailing list called QC-L. My channeling/mediumship had something to do with that, but also the fact that the list was just plain nasty and dysfunctional. It has taken me a long time to learn to seek out and adapt to better environments on the net. Ladies groups are not easy places for someone who has been raised to be an intellectual snob, but I began my apprenticeship two years ago, and the benefits have been enormous. It is nice not to see fighting for sport, and the accessiblity for those who want to both give and receive support is wonderful. In addition, most ladies' groups have a strong graphic focus. I love color and sound, so in many ways I fit right in. Of course you do tend to fit in if you believe you can fit in. It took some hard knocks to make me believe. Finally, I am a paying member of my schul, Congregation Shearith Israel, not that I get that many benefits, but the next time they try to fire a rabbi, I'll have a vote. I also enjoy cooking from scratch. I don't eat meat due to kashrus and lately I have been close to vegan. I find it hard to remember that I don't eat at all like the average American. The ironic part is that changing one's diet is not that hard and a meatless diet tastes delicious. Of course home cooked food made from scratch usually does. If you have any questions don't hesitate to write me at ehkuhall7@tacheiru.every1.net
