ShoutCast gives you access to numerous small noncommercial internet radio stations. Requires Winamp to listen. Click on the link to download the software. Note: I've taken this section down temporarily because there are very few Shoutcast stations available for my 28.8 modem, and they come and go way too frequently to make nice stale links on the page. If you are still interested in Shoutcast radio, stop by Shoutcast for more information.

Collection Development Policy

It is no secret that Unfettered Soul People's University Library needs more links and pages to put in its collection. I do not, however, accept just any link. If you need something transcribed and would like it in the library, put it up as a simple web page and tell me where it is located and I'll set up the link. If the page already exists, just send me the URL and the title. Currently, I am looking for academic pages on a variety of topics. The library desperately needs some social science and biology pages and of course more literature. Remember, any work published before 1922, is public domain and does not require copyright. Try to keep the pages at a level that a student in high school or the first year of college can understand. Donate early and donate often.

Unfortunately, there are some pages I don't want to see and will not put in this library of links. No blatantly commercial pages, modern metaphysics (after 1970. There's enough of that stuff elsewhere), soppy sentimentality, dead children, missing children, dying children, or anti-child pornography campaigns (First they come for the kiddie porn, then the grownup porn, then the bawdy literature, and then the channelers mediums and Wiccans etc....). Pages on death, dying, and bereavement are fine if they take a scholarly view. I have seen a page about memorial societies that I think is appropriate. There is also a page on this site about helping the homeless. Well, good luck and happy hunting. My email address is ehkuhall7@ tacheiru.every1.net.
